Was talking to my mother today, who happens to be a Christian - but thankfully an unbigoted, fair minded one - and she made the point that if PP had be granted for the cross, shouldn't there be a plaque attached to it saying who, where, why, and what it was there for . . . a very good point, I thought. Could this be a possible chink for the no PP aspect?
And she was jolly unimpressed with it all from both the religious and historical prespectives as previously discussed in this thread - finds the whole concept unacceptable. Cool mum. And I'm not being biased!! :o)
