It seems that there has been more damage caused to our ancient stones. Hopefully it is some water based dye that will eventually wear off.

Don't think it has been reported on TMA Blossom, its the 'Idol Stone' below, the question is why someone has vandalised the stone deliberately; because who carries paint stuff around in their rucksacks....

My thoughts exactly. Who does that?

It's possible that if they have to use chemicals to remove the dye or paint then that will cause more damage.

It's nonsensical.
