I think you might be right :)

Nigel thanks for this supportive thread - it is exactly what I had in mind with 'Applause for past contributors'

A very enjoyable read Hob, I'll be up in/around Newcastle for a few days early May, primarily to visit Lindisfarne but perhaps I'll get to Simonside too.

Mr Swift! Although I'm inclined to agree, you know my feelings on this kind of behaviour - back of the room with tjj! ;)

I know I'm a miserable old sod. Don't mean to be. You lot do what you want... :D

Postie always makes me smile and has often been the little voice in the back of my head telling me to just jump the fence!

Nigelswift,
I agree, that is a fine piece of writing by Hob. He's an even better photographer - one of the best rock art photographers, along with Brian Kerr.
I also enjoy reading the accounts of the late Treaclechops. She had a superb way with words, and injected a lovely sense of humour into her writing. She's much missed.
Best wishes,
TE.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww......

Shucks.

Nigel, thank you. You're a gent.

I'm after getting myself back up that hill soon. You've just added lots of extra motivation by making me read that blog. Cheers :D

Nice one!

Much of it reflects my thoughts about Wychbury Hill that I can't put into words so skillfully
