Thank you, goffick. We've just moved back to N Wiltshire and, as you will all know, almost every hill top has it fort/earthwork/settlement so I shall be trying to take some more fit for the site. If the sun was out today I would try for a good view of Liddington Castle which is so clearly seen from the M4 (and from Highworth Golf course where I shall walk the dog this morning) btu I don't think it is going to make it through the clouds.
