Thank you sir; I wonder if its ever been investigated / assessed? I am always amazed by the capacity of even regularily tilled earth to "hold on" to these shapes (ghosts?) of long-forgotten occupancy. Goodness knows what anyone would make of the traces of our occupancy in another couple of thousand years (but then, at least they would have decent records - everything recorded in triplicate (unless your a Government Department ;-) ).
