The hillfort (Caer Cradoc) is to the West and just a little bit to the South, you can just see the stone from there.

Thanks for the scratcher info there's definitely no wool maybe a little bit of burnishing on the corners, there are sheeps hoof prints in the mud directly around the base of the stone.
