No, it's not really a standing stone, (this clasification MAY be because there used to be fewer choices when adding a site). But as Fitz touches on in his blog there seem to be signs and a logic that say boulders like this would have been significant in prehistoric times in a similar way that a lot of outcrops etc are likely to have had.

I'm sure someone'll have a link to do with the (likely/possible) significance & perhaps folklore of 'Thunder Stones' and the like, but I gotta do some work now!!!
