Sorry, didn't look close enough. I've done the same with Skellaw Hill. I'm not used to these multiple-site sites, they're errrrr complex.

That's all sorted.

Hi Eternal (or should that be 'The Eternal' like 'The Edge' out of U2),

When you're about to add a new site the best bet is to run a search for existing sites using the 'Quick Search' box (sorry to state the obvious).

If that doesn't turn anything up, just add the new site, then use the 'Sites within 50km' drop down menu to see what other sites are near it. If a duplicate exists with a slightly different grid reference, you'll see it.

However, if there's duplicate with exactly the same grid reference as your new site you won't be able to see it at this point. To get around this problem, use the drop down (from your new site) and just choose whatever site is nearest (doesn't matter what it is). Once you're on the page of this 'nearby' site, use the 'Sites within 50km' drop-down again to look back at your new site. At this stage duplicates with the same grid reference will show up.

If you find there's a duplicate at this stage you can easily delete your new site (much easier than doing it once you've added lots of images and fieldnotes).

I know this sounds complicated, but it's not really. It's bomb proof I guarantee.
