Good point. I don't know for certain, but I know jimits character quite well (I think) and if he denies it I personally believe him. One small point - in cases of libel and slander it is now the responsibility of the person who wrote/said the offending item to prove that what they said is true. Can you prove the claim you made against him?

Oh, I forgot. You offered to retract it if other unrelated comments were retracted first, so it must, by your own admission, be an untruth.
