We visited the Hellstone last week - many thanks to those who helped provide directions (see "Dorset" thread). I did notice that graffiti, but it looked like kids stuff to me rather than deliberate adult vandalism (if that makes sense). Not that that makes it any better, I know...

You started this post (albeit without realising what was going to occur) so would you mind locking it because I'm fooking sick of all the bitching that sometimes goes on here.

How the fuck people can end up falling out about vandalism to sacred/hiostorical sites is beyond me, I am afraid.
