If I thought that nothing exised, would I have bothered to remove the swastika?

I don't want to start up the debate again about what counts as vandalism. I go to see stones to admire their beauty and the beauty of the landscape. I had never been to the nine stones before, and was already struggling to appreciate the beauty, because of the rather busy road. To then be distracted by a symbol just added to the disappointment. I would be equally peed off if there had been a christian cross in the middle it.
