I was quite aware who Mike was after a short discussion but wasn't aware that he knew who I was, although I thought later that he might have made the connection. I decided to remain a gentleman and not bring up old arguments and made a tactical withdrawal.

I appreciate that you both love these sites as much as I do in our own ways. I would also hope that you are just as interested in finding out who IS defacing them.

My original posting was purely about the graffiti and not who I met there.

You can pretend he has pointed a finger at you till you're blue in the scales but he hasn't.

The fact that such damage has happened repeatedly at these two sites and you have been several times embroiled in controversy about them and you are a huge enthusiast for swastikas are all things that people are well aware of and are entitled to their private thoughts about but Jim's posting was of legitimate interest to users of the forum and should have been posted. That's the way it is. You have zero grounds for complaint.

How about locking the thread now Jim lest the lizard talk returns?

Exactly. Dan & Mike, taking what you say on face value, you must both be eager to stop the graffiti and wanton vandalism to Dorset's ancient sites?
