No, I wouldn't believe that anyone would put a Long Cairn through a rockcrusher either, but they did. And only allowed one of the job-share archaeologists up there afterwards. The former county archao. was a different kettle of fish altogether (and there's an SMR Officer who is brilliant and keeps the place going). It is making a good story - the digger driver that trapped me between his monster cab and a gateway with the intention of getting hold of the camera - etc!
