New Site in Northumberland — Dunstan Hill — Newbie

Hi,

I'm a newbie so appologies for any mistakes.

I've just visited a site in Northumberland at Doxford (reference is Dunstan Hill in Keys to the past). Iron age settlement, possibly defended. I've got some field notes and pictures I'd like to put up but don't know how to create a new site.

Can someone give me some guidance on what to do to add a new site?

I've already posted a couple of photos and comments on another site but obviously want to make sure I do things right.

I'm hoping to visit some more new sites in the area over the summer and add photos and field notes.

Welcome Mac!

First of all, drill down to where your site should live - I guess http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/3187/northumberland.html in this case. Now, under the web searches bit of the page, there's a dropdown -Add- and almost at the bottom you can choose to add a new site. Name it, choose its type and add grid references, and you're off, ready to add your images and fieldnotes in just the same way.

I'm sure you have done already, but make sure to read the guidelines on submissions!
