Question is, will it be completely excavated and then destroyed. Or will Tarmac have to leave it in situ?

This WAS on their website but it's been removed, so I guess their policy has changed.

"When we find archaeological remains of national significance on our quarries, we preserve them intact and keep the quarry away".
