Hi Holy,

something astray here with Eggerdon Hill. can these 3 entries be condensed to one?

Eggerdon hill is at least 13 klicks from Golden Cap so hardly counts a group.

Totally agree with juamei's lastest post , this is one of the greatest sites in Dorset.

The motherinlaw lives in Dorset so I always take a chance to explore when in the area.

Hey, whats the Bell stone? It shows on the multimap at the north-east end of Eggerdon. I tried to find it but not sure what I was looking for...

Hi Phil,
Sorted it:

http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/browse.php?site_id=317

Thanks for pointing out the confusion - I know there's a fair amount of this going on. We should chat about sorting Cornwall out properly at some point, as it's all a bit jumbled. Gimme your thoughts.

Cheers
H.

Mr McGrail, like you haven't enough to do - but if you wanted something else and for the sake of accuracy so it turns up in the right spot on the map, Golden Cap is at SY407922

A. Pedant.

I'm glad someone else spotted that :)
When I'm down in Dorset for Xmas I was gonna confirm my thoughts on the subject, I wasn't sure whether there was another site called Eggardun or not, as I don't have the OS map just to the west of Bridport...
