Though that wiki calls him Felix, I reckon it might well be the Fritz mentioned by Fitz (eh?). Well known collector of flintage, Mr Berthele was a WWII PoW who stayed on and found many a flint, and the occasional cup marked stone, as part of his job with the Forestry Commission. He used to follow the forestry ploughs and recorded all sorts of stuff that would have otherwise been lost. His excellent collection of finds is now poorly displayed with little consideration at Chillingham Castle (Shame on you Sir Humphrey W...).
