Is very high up with brilliant views of the pewsey vale.
It has a few stones at the front but it sounds like you discovered one of the many destroyed round barrows.

I think you are verily correct. If adams grave is a longbarrow, i didn't reach it for the one we visited was definately round and in a sorry state. In fact, looking at the map in the MA, it seems obvious that we didn't get as far as adams grave. Still, theres always next time.

Can you get inside Adams grave? or is it sealed up?
