Yes you did indeed get to the east Kennet barrow.
Farmer is usualy alright as long as you ask permission first.
There are plans to open it in the furute, not sure when tho'. The foot & Mouth last year put back a lot of scheduled digs.
There is a dig starting at Beckhampton in the next few weeks.
Then one at the avenue and Falkners circle followed by a summer dig near the Sanctuary.

Thanks for the confirmation.

The shotgun shells were a little disconcerting, but then we found half a clay pigeon aswell, so we relaxed.

Anyone know if we made it to Adams grave? I'm thinking not, as it was fairly close to the longbarrow, although it was high up...

The summer dig at the Sanctuary and the one on the West Kennet Avenue are one and the same I think, Pete. Leicester and Southampton (and poss Newport?) Unis are excavating part of the Avenue just outside the Sanctuary - unless you've heard of another one going on at the Sanctuary?
