However I did get an interesting email back from one Johnathan Brocklehurst at Amazon -

"Thank you for writing to Amazon.co.uk with your concern.

Although our partner site lists this book it does not mean that Amazon agrees with the ideas it contains."

This was followed almost immediately by an email listing all the latest wonderful offers currently available at Amazon! That's what I call marketing!

Nice one amazon. I know, i know - massive capitalist retail monolith that it is - but that email sums up an important point... and i'm glad the folks at the world's largest bookstore are aware of it...

It's not up to bookstores to "endorse" the content of anything they sell. If it was; then we'd all be at the mercy of the unaccountable corporates who run the book-retail conglomerates to tell us which books we may or may not read.
