WHEN ME and my *x* and Our LITTLE LAD WERE GOING THROUGH THe motions of splitting up (well I was being dumped!) we had both been going through a ruff time ....... and out of these months of misery the only time we laughed and had any peace in our hearts AS A FAMILY UNIT was when laying out flat on top of silbUry on a sunny morning .

It was a strange day and that HiLL DID STRANGE THINGS TO MY innerself ..... A day that will stay with me for ever . A Luvly memory !
I might be brave enough to visit it agiN IF i CAN ESCAPE THEE GHOSTS OF THE PAST.
I'm gonna stop now before I burst into soNg!
sorry Aa pointless posting really but It brought it all back to me.....................

are you trying to make us cry! Seriously, though a splendid example of how these places have a profound effect on us. Not sure what effect the open countryside thing will have on Silbury, maybe they are beng realistic in the fact that people have always ignored the 'please don't climb the hill' type orders that have been around for some time. It does, however, mean that people need to act responsibly. Asking a lot these days...
