No - I'm wrong there, it *is* named after JMW Turner, the painter. There's a Professor of the Philosophy of Art, named Denis Dutton, in New Zealand, who gets a lot of press and has some interesting concepts. ( http://www.philly.com/philly/entertainment/20090125_Why_everyone_is_an_artist.html )
