How much they listened to us, I just don't know Rhiannon. The meeting was only held because we applied pressure -repeatedly!- to get some public accountability. It may have just been a PR exercise to satisfy us. Time will tell.
hard to tell how much they really take notice of the public but great that the pressure HA applied led to the meeting going ahead. it seemed that from what was said english heritage are interested in the publics point of view(s) and are prepared to listen and hopefully take into account usefull suggestions. they did say that future public meetings wouldn't be ruled out, so i guess it's a maybe.
