Not wishing to distract from Ishmael's original thread in any way I thought a slightly different angle might be useful to monitor ticket allocations by English Heritage for this meeting. Perhaps if we keep the thread really simple and along the lines of tickets Requested and tickets Received we'll get some idea of how things are developing.

Just a suggestion but will set the ball rolling with my own request for tickets -

Requested - 2
Received - 0

Will change that of course if I receive the tickets.

Requested - 2
Received - Out of office reply - no tickets

Hi stoney, Pete seems to have locked his original thread!
Has anyone tried contacting the local, (Avebury area) press to highlight the upcoming meeting? In my experience EH like to put out feelers for opposition before they release tickets. Again, from experience, it's better to book far more tickets than required to prompt a change of venue giving the press another opportunity. It is likely that the only opposition to their plans comes primarily from here, TMA. The Portal forums are near dead these days! What other opposition is there?!
EH are going to tunnel, no question. You may not like the things I say or do but, I am the only person you are aware of that EH are affraid of. Questions need to be asked and only I can ask them. I have this knack of getting to the truth!

OK, own up, who's pinkpebbleperson on the EH Silbury ticket mailing list?

I shan't be there but would be interested in any record of the meeting.
