Yes, that's how Glastonbury Tor has been defaced, nationally, and Rivington Pike too, locally. But what if Silbury Hill had a dark (hidden) twin. (In Cumbria) ?
Anyone watch the C5 doc on "The search for King Midas's Tomb" last night? The burial mound is remarkably similar to Silbury only larger. The burial chamber is reckoned to be the oldest wooden structure in the world at c740BCE. The archaeos think that the body found is that of Gordius (of knot fame), Midas's father.
