The fact that the 63 pages upon which EH based their decision is unknown to you or (presumably) your archaeologist friends and the process of reasoning that led EH from there to their decision is a matter known only unto a few in EH and God, rather neatly confirms our case.

The fact that on that basis you and your mates can be enthusiastically supportive of the decision whereas we remain unsure and have called for an explanation is another of life's eternal mysteries. You come here and snipe and slag me and HA off Pete but you seem profoundly under informed and entirely unwilling to explain how you are so sure the decision is right for Silbury. We're all ears.

In addition, perhaps you'd say whether you think the public has been adequately informed, whether you have, and if not, whether you and they have a right to be.

The alternative, I suppose, is to just carry on sniping.
