No I think it is rather an expanded Old tunnel at best a 10" tube around the old tunnel.
They are not starting a New tunnel from scratch.
I'm looking forward to it all happening and hope you share your photos when you go inside for a poke around.

If my favourite tunnel is rebored by having 10 inches taken off the walls its the last place I'de be going for a poke !

And as the matter of 20 seconds was mentioned - I would have had time do it twice and put the kettle on !
