This isn't a meaningless vote - Nigel is asking us all to send an email English Heritage, Appag, Unesco and The Government.

The carefully worded email is on the Heritage Action webpage so you can just cut and paste away.

Quite. The vote is simply a bit of fun that happened to coincide. It seemed a good idea for Silbury to get some publicity just now.

I don't mind being criticised on a factual basis, but it ought to be properly informed.
