But it actually needs someone to get out there, find a venue, cough up the money to secure it and then present EH with a >i<fait accompli>/i< in the form of >b<Get your Arses to this Meeting and Explain what you're At>/b<.
A meeting in Avebury sounds good though I suspect logistically impractical. Marlborough is probably better though Devizes is also a possibly. The first question is to assess how many people are likely to attend such a meeting, then find an appropriate venue, then invite EH to attend and explain itself.
