Silbury Hill 180

Nice try, but totally wrong - as I've said before I'm not an archaeologist, my only qualifications in that direction are a history degree and a tourism management diploma....try again nostromo

oh and as you don't seem to know - EH took management of Silbury back off the NT...so its all EH's baby.

Nick Snashall would know EH didn't take management of Silbury back from the NT, it was an arrangement and in August 2000 NT handed it back.

One thing, I am known to be quite a critic of the NT but they swung into action on 29th May 2000 at Silbury ensuring no-one was down the hole when the collapse occurred and roping and organising a guard so no person or animal could get hurt - all this in the dark and semi-darkness - Chris Gingell and co were superb.

Fucking hell! A diploma in Tourism Management??? Are your tours as informative as your posts here? "On your left you will see Silbury Hill. As you probably know nothing about it I'm not going to enlighten you one bit! Because you've probably got your own ideas as to what it was built for, I'll not bother telling you anything."

I bet they're a right laugh!
