Oxfam aren't employing archaeologists - cretin!

You could change your job if you feel that Oxfam needs you more. It can't be much fun digging and getting no credit for the work.

Hahaa! Well done, SBP - you've really proved yourself this time, haven't you?

Oddly, the nicest thing I can think to say is "idiot"!

An archaeologist that doesn't care about archaeology... "A pile of mud"... Brilliant... ;o)

Well I may be a cretin and I probably am to bother about replying to you. Following your line of (un) reasoning about piles of mud - it seems that you believe that archaeology is unimportant compared with African famine. Therefore, if archaeologists retrained as charity workers, drivers, medics and such - then Oxfam might employ them and they just might be doing something useful instead. You could even be a P.A. to a latrine digger.
