Guys,

I'm not trying to plead not-guilty on his behalf. But I am writing a newspaper-article about the whole case. So i have to listen to his side of the story too. Maybe i posted my last message to soon after talking to him, it had to sink in for a while first. Can I quote you in my article? Can you e-mail me ( at [email protected] ) your full names and why you're so angry with him. I'll call English Heritage tomorrow so it will not be an article about how innocent Bert is.

Martin

I'll state here why I am so angry at them ...

Not only were they stupid enough to do this, they were stupid enough to admit to it and stupid enough to think it's clever.

So many people damage sacred sites and get away with it. For example ..
.. the wedge tomb that had a bonfire lit on top of it to celebrate a gaelic football victory, cracking the cap stone in two.
.. a dolmen I recently visited moved and rebuilt to look nothing like it's original form.

There are so many cases like this. People can not be allowed to get away with these acts of 'megalithocide'.

I've had suzanne telling me
"It wasn't me! I wasn't there!"
Yet I have emails from here and Diahanne with outlines for
Project Fingerprints.
They are all involved!
Saying it wasn't me yer honour does not make them not guilty.
English Heritage had a plan until these fools came along.
The hole was going to be covered like it was in the 1920's and again in the 1930's.
After the Silbury Sods caused the damage the plan was scrapped and a new plan had to be devised.
The bill so far has passed the £1,000,000 mark and its not even half finished.
These people deserve all the bad shit that happens to them.
When I find the names of the other 3 involved I will let you know.
EH people are looking into the laws that they have broken.
The spring visit was during a foot and mouth outbreak so they are liable for a £5,000 each.
Damage to an ancient monument carries a 2 year sentence.
This is hard tp prove unless you have video footage showing the damage being done, which thanks to Janet giving a copy to the press, they now have.

Keep at 'em!
