Sheepbury Hill

No buzzards in Avebury, obviously, and no gamekeepers to import 'myxi'. When a person has seen a monument bulldozed - levelled - the complaints about bobtails seem rather shallow. Better to research one of the prime orientations of the greater landscape. Viz. the view over the Z-stones.

The length of the long moon cycle - 18.6 years - must have been about the age of the first child being born (generation length) so, perhaps, the two were interlinked.

If there are no buzzards in Avebury it's due to lack of local perches, not because it's beyond their distribution area. I've always been obsessed with them and I've seen them extend westwards a few miles at a time throughout my life. I saw one in Lincs this year.

About Z stone alignment. Does the obelisk come into this? Because, I understand, the concrete marker is misplaced. Pete will tell all no doubt.
