I seem to recall that after the initial geophysics results an EH person got very excited about the spiral path but on later analysis and further work they found that it wasn't a spiral path afterall leaving some egg on that EH-bods face.

Having said that EH don't get excited about Silbury otherwise they would have fixed the hole!
