Seeing will be believing but EH estates have this morning promised to chase up whoever's responsibility it was to get the notices printed and up....

I'll give em a couple of days but I went past this morn and there were people all over Silbury !

And how infuriating that despite that sort of crass blind inefficiency the prevailing culture is so damn arrogant.

Wouldn't you think they'd have got the notices up BEFORE taking the fence down? It looks to me like the fence-removing exercise was rushed through as a knee-jerk reaction to the press coverage, without much real thought behind it.
