Square fence ontop innit?
PeteG

Pete, I read that

As the sun rises the hill casts a shadow across the land and when viewed from the hill's summit a flare of light appears to come from the shadow. This is caused by refracted light in dew drops on the ground and is known as the Silbury Glory.

Do you know anything about that?

It's not the fence casting that shadow though Pete (as well you know, I suspect) - it's the curved edge of the top of the mound combined with the angle of the light. The top of the 'triangular' shadow is actually curved.

Don't really know why I bothered posting this as I think you're both just being daft anyway. (Take it as read for Swifty I guess.)

Actually, I do know why I posted it - I'm bored with this crap piece of work I've been doing for the last week (seems more like a year!).

OK, I'll piss off now.

love
