It's amazing that these look so grey and ordinary with no sun on them. Doesn't make it a lesser place though does it?

Never been lucky enough to visit the stones you're refering to but , every time I look at the Avebury Stones ( living next to them) I'm amazed.No matter how often you see something you think you know, they still never cease to surprise me; but always look majestic and magical.
Not bad for a bunch of old stones eh!
