I went to visit this supposed "multiple avenues", but my no stretch of the imagination could I find anything more that two stones, even as the heather was quite short an recently burned. Can anyone shed any light on where the multiple avenues are?
I think someone's been telling you porkies, Moggy matey.
Stone rows on NYM are rarer than chicken lips.
There are a few dubious claims, but they are so wrecked that it's takes a lot of imagination and a huge leap of faith.
I found this reference recently but have not checked it out yet. http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/browse.php?site_id=2636
Happy hunting.
Forgot to mention the High & Low Bridestones. Thought to be possibly the remains of a four poster and a stone row.http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/browse.php?site_id=281
