It is horrible. OK, the place suffered a lot from 'casual' vandalism, just from kids hanging out on the stones. Not sure it'll have much benefit tho & (presumably it's locked) it'll stop interested people seeing it properly.

What else can they do tho? :^(

Aye - sad, innit? It does look horrible, but then I'm sure we've all seen much worse - and who knows the fate of the place if left unprotected?

I'm not for locking these places up at all, but it's gotta be better than losing them to the neds...

I s'pose the regular vandalism has forced the authorities into doing SOMETHING, and what else COULD they do?
