Are there any pictures of Winterbourne Basset Stone Circle as it *was*. I've read that Stukeley drew one, but I can't find it anywhere. Any pointers?
The circle on p105 of Megalithomania isn't Winterbourne Basset, I don't think. I've read that Stukeley's picture has Avebury Church in the background.

Check my cd rom under Other Circles.
I had the Winterbourne Abbas? circle in Dorset that was in Megolithamania for a while but changed it to the Stukeley one.
There is an excellent article in WANHM 2003 that has the pic.
