Calling Rock-Rich.

Rich , Even from the pic it looks "stiff" and unbalanced but that's subjective. The cups seem to be straight sided rather than being an inverted cone . If it has been under cover and well preserved then you would expect to see some decent pick marks .A good look should show if it was done using a metal tool . Then there is the "face" . At least it's not in the Kelvingrove museum .

Ice skating scars - there's another one to add to the Glentarf list.

I didn’t get down on my knees to examine the features closely, I was carrying far too much crap as per usual (not the bucket) & couldn’t be bothered taking it all off.

From what I can remember the cup shapes looked ok, the shadows are probably hiding their true coneyness. Having zoomed into the photo, there’s definitely differing ‘tool’ marks, some in the ‘arrow’ look typical chisel remnants forming chevrons, those in the ‘ring’ have a pecked-ish look about them.

We need to go up there again to give it the 3D treatment, so will have a closer look.
