This would not surprise me at all. When they excavateted the archaeologists stated in their report that there are definitely many other circles in the area, but I don't know if they recorded them. They didn't publically do so for fear of folks going along and doing a bit of treasure hunting (still a misguided passtime all over). A lot in the same field were left uncovered for future archaeos to investigate (and because of time/money constraints).

Best thing to do is contact Duchas in Dublin and see who the county archaeologist is. They might be known, they may be new.
