'Countryfile' was in Northern Ireland last night - quite a bit of the programme was about the Sperrin Mountains. The Beaghmore Stone Circles featured. Am inspired - haven't yet made it to Northern Ireland ... hopefully next year.

About 47 minutes in - for anyone who hasn't the time or inclination to watch the entire programme.

We went to Beaghmore a few years back, amazing place! The rows heading into the uncut peat are very suggestive. Could have spent hours there, its so great to see what is very much an untouched site.

There is a similar multiple circle site nearby whose name escapes me which is was so unkempt and overgrown that you cant make out anything.

Great place, rather like Dartmoor condensed upon one hillside. And you can't help thinking what else lies within that uncut peat?

Funnily enough, though, my favourite site of the trip was [[Dun Ruadh]]....
