In praise of collies;

Good walking companions - quiet and keep close to hand. They don't have to dragged and wheedled along with constant exhausting "it wont be long now". They don't lie down and refuse to walk, they don't moan if you have'nt bought any food along, they don't sulk, don't argue... could go on for ever....

and, as someone once said, you can sell their children as well ;)
