Nice to get there, but you sound slighly ambivalent about it Pebs,

Quite rightly so ;)

What would you have given it out of 10?

I think I sorta know what you mean as I felt a bit like that about the recent Simonside RA-projection thing. Like it was good, but your enthusiasm for the subject matter meant you'd over-egged the event in your imagination beforehand?

ps: Tell Mr Pebs 'Nice Ormaigery'.

I'm no art critic ;)

Of course we didn't really get to experience the whole project, just the night-time "play" bit of it.

I wanted to describe the event without giving anything away, so obviously had to leave out a few details. As a result, maybe the things I was enthusiastic about had to stay inside the bag, you might say...!

I would give it 7 or 8/10 compared to my previous experiences with outdoor art and/or drama of any sort.

I'd give major credit to technical aspects, organisation, acting skills, subject matter, location, props, set design, music, atmosphere and supporting cast ;)

but I think I'd mark it down on the actual story, which was a bit thin & lame when all boiled down. but you could argue it wasn't about the story, iyswim.

Overall I enjoyed it, the audience around me were a bit quiet but I'm not sure who they were - by which I mean I bet they didn't pay either, so they weren't really the target audience! Once the ticket-buying arty farty set see it I could see quite a few great reviews about it.

Has anyone seen any other reviews yet?
