It's on a public footpath, so legally speaking it's fine.

As for the path, it's not too bad. There's a shonky gate at one end of it, but most of the path is wide enough for a Landrover. There's a bit of an incline, but nothing too bad. Not exactly wheelchair friendly because of the grass, but reasonably accessible.
