As in this campaign Fiat are also using elephants painted with white markings similar to a panda, I thought I would ask if they would put up a notice "sponsored by Brandalism" and paint pandas white to look like chalk horses...

they said don't be stupid you wouldn't then be able to tell them apart from polar bears...

I said of course you would its cold in January and the pandas are the ones you can't get going in the morning !

PS Anyone know if the Laverstock Panda ( a head cut in 1969) is still visible that was on the east of the A30 about 1/2 mile from Salisbury ?

I think its no longer visible
here's a pic from 1970

Which shows what kind of morons we're dealing with.
May I direct the attention of those here assembled to the "Technology" link from this URL:

...which features, somewhat obviously, a polar-bear in the colours of a panda.

How is it I am able to distinguish the two?

Ah yes....possession of brain-cells and a rudimentary education.

Plus the fact that one is round-faced, reasonably dengerous and has a shite car named after it, while the other is pointy-nosed, fucking dangerous and desperately needs to be let loose in the offices of whichever "advertising" agency thought this idea up.

Mind you.....we could always send a panda along with an AK-47. In my dictionary it says:

Panda (noun) Large Mammal. Eats, shoots and leaves.

.....I'll get me coat.

The chalk's not really visible now, but the face can still be made out if the light is right, as there are ridges which cast shadows.
