The movie is snazzy too, I'm wondering if the inverted colour effect was added whilst filming (from a 'negative' setting on the camera) or as an effect in an editing prog?

It's done using Final Cut Pro. A very addictive piece of software with too many knobs, buttons, sliders and twiddly things to play with !
