And Thom shows a large holed stone slightly off the perimeter of this circle. Is that stone still there ? It's not to be confused with the one latterly used for wedding firecrackers. That's of the type I call 'drilled'.

I suppose I'm trying to find where all the holed stones are.

The only holes at this circle are those which have been drilled.
There are no large stones there, the tallest is the central stone, 3'2" high. The tallest of those forming the circle has a height of 2'6".
I have a copy of a report into an investigation of this circle which was carried out in 1924. No holed stone (other than the drilled ones) is mentioned. The circle appears to be the same now as it was then.
Where did you get the name Black Marsh from? What did Thom call it?
