Hellos I recently came across an article in the Aberdeen Evening Express from 14 September 1988 called 'Standing up for our stones' by Sheila Hamilton which starts off by talking about Thomas Stone-Killer Robinson moving from Buckinghamshire up to Buckie in north east Scotland then going around with a Clydesdale called Fido pulling down stone circles.
Has anyone heard about this? I'd be interested to know if Robinson ever went to Scotland, I only know him as a eejit destroying stones at Avebury. Spoke to Drew about this and he hadn't heard of it. Perhaps the journalist was having her leg pulled, Bucks to Buckie does sound a bit comic, let alone a horse called Fido.
